The Avalon Day Spa will be launching headspa services in September 2026 with luxury touches such as:

Red Light Therapy using low-level, 630nm-660nm, or near-infrared light to penetrate the scalp, stimulating hair follicles and increasing ATP (energy) production. ATP breaks down glucose to fuel other cellular processes, in this case to assist with hair follicle regeneration, scalp repair, and collagen synthesis.

Steam therapy from Takara Belmont, the gold standard in the industry. Takara Belmont Steamers use ultrasonic technology to create microscopic, nutrient-rich mist particles (40°C to 50°C) that penetrates deeper into the hair shaft and pores without high-heat damage. This precise mist hydrates, cleanses, and locks in treatments using a rapid cooling feature, resulting in longer-lasting, more vibrant hair and scalp care compared to hot, potentially damaging steam.

Hydrodara Waterfall Treatment is similar to the Ayurvedic Shirodara oil treatment, this water and herb infused treatment helps soothe the nervous system allowing you to achieve a deeply relaxed state. Olfactory bouquet includes bergamot, orange, lime, rose, lavender, verbena and ylang-ylang. This treatment also seals the hair follicles.

Vitality Anma Japanese Headspa $89.00 – 70 Minutes

Rooted in Trichology, the Vitality Treatment is perfect for those with hair loss including postpartum, stress-related, or alopecia, excess shedding, and want a treatment that has a natural, drug-free, and minoxidil-free solution to strengthen hair and combat hair loss

Includes consultation with Trichoscope Hair Analyzer, nutrient dense pretreat, detoxifying and exfoliating scalp masque, botanical blend rinse, shampoo with red light therapy, conditioning, antioxidant masque, hydrodara waterfall treatment, botanical protein mist, and leave in conditioner.

The Balancing Treatment is perfect for inflammatory concerns like eczema, rosacea, soothing sensitive, irritated scalps, oil balancing and designed to reduce redness, inflammation and itchiness

Includes consultation with Trichoscope Hair Analyzer, an exfoliation mask, botanical blend rinse, shampoo with red light therapy, conditioning, mask treatment, hydrodara waterfall treatment, and scalp & hair serum.

Products used in both the Balancing Anma Headspa are provided from a Italian company that specializes in producing organic, vegan, concentrated, high end haircare. Products are grown in the fields of Ortofficina, a farm in the Italian countryside. Essential oils, distillates, micronized plants and extracts derived from plants are grown in soil not treated with chemical pesticides or fertilizers, but is nourished and fed with natural fertilization.

The Classic Treatment removes product impurities, gently exfoliates the scalp, and replenishes essential moisture leaving the hair and scalp feeling soft, healthy and revitalized

Exfoliating Hair Mask- Made from upcycled bamboo that decongests the follicles, white willow bark that assists in breaking down product buildup, and wild snow mushroom extract which calms irritation and is anti-inflammatory.

Herbs & Pink Clay Mask- for a deeper exfoliation that helps gently slough away dead skin on the scalp.
