The Glow Up

As the spa approaches it’s 3rd anniversary, I can not believe the growth we have had overall since the day I opened. I started the spa with 5 clients. Yes, Five!

I opened with five and a half years in of advanced education, hope, determination and a very unhealthy amount of caffeine but here we are almost three years later and today I have 352 clients in our books. Believe me when I say that didn’t happen on accident. But even with Covid, the unstable economy, tariffs and everything else going on in the world today, I am still here and I have a great team behind me as we build. Working and growing the spa into what I always dreamed of: A place of peace, calm and zen. A hybrid model of a traditional European spa, a wellness center working hand and hand with other medical professionals and a place of gathering. A place where no matter the religion, creed, or color- we all could come together and gather for the purpose of wellness and relaxation.

I named the spa for Isle of Avalon- in Arthurian legend and Celtic mythology, a place of profound, hidden wisdom and healing. Legends state that people sought out healers from far and wide because they had a high mastery of medicine and herbs. A place where wellness was not just given, it was taught. Those who wanted to be healers, traveled to the isle with hopes of learning and mastering their craft.

It is exactly this belief of advanced education that I bring in while I look for expanding departments. We are ready to re-launch our massage department, and add in our new brow and lash department as well as hire a second nail technician. You will notice that we are getting even further ahead to being fully completed with this main website. We have already uploaded the landing page including the future modalities that will be added with expansion. You can also see the membership page is completed, with information on all new tiers of membership. Under the rewards tab, we have a new improved referral program that gives you even bigger rewards.

The online boutique is almost completed but there are many, many items that you can purchase now. I made sure to work with the designer to offer you three ways to collect your items- Click and Collect pick up in store, Courier Service through Doordash or Uber, or traditional mail with USPS Ground Advantage which offers delivery in 2-5 days.

The Avalon Day Spa will never add on additional service charges for any orders made with Courier Service.

The future of Avalon? Beyond anything I could even describe. We will be introducing one-at-a-time new modalities that will be low cost or in some cases, included for free with our Signature Membership Level or Spa Society Membership.
