On The Move The Avalon Day Spa Relocates & Expands

The spa has signed on to move locations to Trenton mid November to a 2, 200 sq ft space, located in the heart of the downtown area, across the street from Trenton Police Station on West Jefferson- very safe, well lit at night and the building is maintained and in fantastic shape. Our new location is located where The Beauty Parlor used to be located, at 2857 W Jefferson Ave, Trenton, MI 48183.

We have made several changes, and honestly continue to still make changes. While we will be moving mid November just in time to soft open for the start of the holiday season, please be patient with us while we continue to change and improve the spa and add in new features, amenities and more. We will be preforming some services and our target completion for all changes and grand opening in March 20th, 2027.

The spa will be closed – both locations – from November 10th through November 16th to allow us to physically move and set up

So what changes are being made?

We used to hand out a small Hershey’s Kiss with our tea service. We have changed the chocolate to Italian chocolatier Venchi. If you have not heard of the cocoa bean shortage and how it has affected American chocolate makers- I urge you to research how American chocolate manufactures are moving to lab created cocoa beans. Because of this, the spa will be sourcing it’s chocolate products from the EU; specifically Italy and France from reputable companies that align with clean, honest ingredients. We will offer Venchi single wrapped Classic Cremino 1878 Giandula (3 layer chocolate with hazelnut, almond paste with white chocolate, and creamy milk chocolate) and Cremino Caramel and Dark Chocolate (3 layer chocolate with caramel, almond paste with white chocolate, and creamy milk chocolate). We will have these at end of month in November for guests who receive tea service.

Botanical Rebalance Peel $120- Treats acne, congested skin, regulates oil production, antiviral and antifungal benefits – boosts immune function, limits skin irritations A next-level resurfacing treatment that combines shikimic acid, alpha hydroxy acids, and retinol-mimicking peptides to treat adult onset acne and congested skin while hydrating and regulating oil production. The formulation is designed with anti-inflammatory ingredients; soothing acne-prone skin while addressing concerns like dehydration and barrier sensitivity. This incredible peel solution works for all forms and grades of acne, including fungal acne.

Botanical Resurface Peel $120.00- Formula strengthens the skin, firming and tightening while treating texture and fine lines Retinyl Linoleate, Retinyl Palmitate, Glyceryl Diretinoate in this peel are all Vitamin A derivatives that promote cell turnover and collagen production, which are paired with Myristoyl Nonapeptide-3, an ingredient that mimics retinoic acid without the irritation, stimulates cell proliferation, and assists with melanin management. Liposolvation Technology in this peel solution helps deliver peptides and retinols through the skin barrier, without disruption, minimizing the opportunity for inflammation. Memberships

Memberships will still be available starting end of November as we had to push this back, however we will be adding more amenities between November and March to enhance what we already have.

We are upgrading our hot cocoa at the end of October to feature traditional drinking chocolate from France, having a partnership with company Andresy A l’Ancienne. The name of the company roughly translates to “the old-fashioned way” and Andresy a l”Ancienne follows the traditional way of making hot chocolate. Unlike American hot cocoa companies, Andresy makes their hot cocoa with just three ingredients- raw brown cane sugar, 35% cocoa and natural bourbon vanilla extract. A 35oz can of cocoa is roughly $80 in US markets, so I am blessed to have a partnership with them for reduced costs and can offer my membership clients this beverage complimentary. This beverage will be complimentary for all three levels of memberships, including the free membership.

We are upgrading our paid membership beverages to enhanced mimosas in November. The organic juice company we have partnered with is all organic, and there is zero added sugar or preservatives, not from concentrate, and crafted with nutrition in mind. I would much prefer to offer beverages that are healthy and wellness focused. These beverages are complimentary with membership and limited to (1) per visit.
