Cozy Meets Chic: New Fall Sneaker Drops
Fall is here, and not only should you switch up to a heavier moisturizer, it’s also time for a closet re-fresh. For those of us who have a love affair for all things shoes, fall is a time for new sneakers, boots, wellies and more.
The fall/winter fashion runways all featured new launches along with shoe charms, animal prints and fun details.
Style shapes of sneaker shoes stayed consistent, with low top retro, sneakerinas and jazz shoes. Sneakerinas became the “it” shoe last year, combining the ballet flat with low style sneakers and the style is still in demand, but the satin finish of those shoes and made it to more traditional low top sneakers. Satin sneakers were found on the runways in pretty satin pastels and earth tones. The jazz shoe is barely there, low sole, barely there, and found on runways this season especially in black or white leather. Low top retro fits were featured consistently across the runways moving away from big, chunky soled shoes.
Just like the default white sneakers of your past fashion self, sandy suede sneakers are easy to coordinate outfits with. The most in-demand styles on the runway come in shades of tan, cream, chocolate brown, and camel- most of them having a retro and low silhouette.
Two bright pops of color emerged as well, one being red in tones of cranberry, wine and burgundy. The other color, butter yellow has followed into fall and winter from spring. Fendi’s vintage-inspired trainer to Loewe’s grippy low-runner both featured yellow. We saw both colors in suede, satin and leather, along with jewel colors emerald and sapphire.
Metallic silver was also present on the runways, pairing with denim, gray tailoring, and fall shades like burgundy. And of course, animal prints in leopard print, embossed snake leathers and other prints in cow and zebra. As usual, the fashion world brings you a little bit of everything.
However, for this blog, we are featuring neutral palette colors with a splash of animal print and charms, which are street ready and easy to coordinate with.

On A Budget Re Fresh
